I deployed to Afghanistan in February 2008 to the National Military Academy of Afghanistan. Based out of the Kabul airport, we worked daily with our Afghan counterparts to build their military and establish the 33rd tribe of Afghanistan – the tribe of the entire nation of Afghanistan.
